AGC CONTINUES QUEST TO EDUCATE YOUTH ABOUT
CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY CAREERS

AGC, the Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation (AEDF), and the Construction Industry Manufacturers Association (CIMA) have co-sponsored an innovative web site — ConstructMyFuture.com — which provides access to educational information and career opportunities in the construction industry.

The web site targets students ages 15 through 19 who are entertaining ideas about their future and career choices. Students can create their own school-to-career pathways, locate colleges/universities and training programs, as well as search for jobs.

Parents, teachers and career counselors are also encouraged to visit. The web site provides content and contact information for more than 200 manufacturers, distributors and contractors who are available to provide in-person tours, classroom presentations, or other hands-on help.   Visit the web site at  www.constructmyfuture.com.
