AGC of Ohio presents several awards to members. AGC of Ohio’s Build Ohio awards are presented yearly. Established in 1991, Build Ohio celebrates construction through an awards program that recognizes contractors for excellence in construction. Members submit projects to this awards competition and a panel of highly regarded retired construction professionals selects the winning entries according to how they meet (and surpass) the Build Ohio criteria. Winning projects receive the bronze and green marble Build Ohio statue.
Also presented yearly are the AGC of Ohio’s Construction Safety Excellence Awards. Our CSEA program is an elite safety excellence awards program which recognizes companies that have developed and implemented premier safety and loss prevention programs. The program also showcases companies that have achieved continuous improvements and maintenance of their safety and health management systems.
Finally, AGC of Ohio has twice awarded its Pinnacle Award for Lifetime Achievement. The Pinnacle Award was created to distinguish those that remain active in AGC of Ohio long after serving in a direct leadership role. It honors people that put self-serving interests aside and work with the association to benefit the industry as a whole, an individual who epitomizes the AGC of Ohio tenets of skill, responsibility and integrity.
